Shipping Your Plasma
Plasma is a fragile substance and must be handled with care to prevent damage. Home Theater People has negotiated shipping and handling rates with the most reliable carriers. The following rates include shipping, handling, and insurance for delivery in the continental U.S. Call us at 1-877-845-0044 and we will coordinate shipping for you, and don't forget to ask about our special "white glove" delivery available in some areas.

Once a plasma unit leaves Home Theater People (Projector People.com) or the manufacturer's
warehouse, it is the customer's responsibility to check for damages and to file any
claims with the freight company. Such claims must be filed within 24 hours of
product delivery. |

It is a good idea to write "Possible concealed damage" on the freight bill when you take
delivery of your plasma display. Then immediately inspect the package, open it and start
the plasma unit. Remember you have only 24 hours to file damage claims with the freight company. |

Some manufacturers package plasma units with "Tip-n-Tell" gadgets on the outside of the
box; if the box tips during transit, the "Tip-n-Tell" turns red. |
